How can a message automatically be sent to root as a result of someone
logging in? This has nothing to do with logins created or monitored in
the log files. It won't be necessary to tell me where it needs to be
placed.

Also, how do I resolve an ioport conflict if a tape drive is using two
ioports? The tape drive is connected to the same cable as two floppies.
It works in Win95. Linux recognizes the tape drive and retention can be
executed by mt.
