Hi all,
I have network consisting of 4 machines (3 win95, and linux box( with the
linux box "inbetween" the two nets. It has two ethernet cards a 100bt and
a 10bt, the 100bt network is my original network and so i had samba
sharing drives between my linux box and my machine. But then I added my
roomates machines at 10bt through the linux box and now I would like to
have samba shares for all the machines on the linux box but right now they
only show up on my original 100bt box. I can mount drives on my roomates'
machines with smbmount, but the shares on the linux box do not show up on
their computers, only mine. Is this a routing problem or is there someway
to configure samba for this setup... didn't see anything about it in the
howto or dejanews. If this is a routing issue, I've included my routing
table below:
Destination Gateway Genmask ... Iface
192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth0
192.168.2.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 eth1
127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 lo
I setup up the win95 machines with the linux box as their gateway thinking
that packets not destined foranother win95 machine on the same net would
be directed to the linux machine and the sent on to their destination on
the other nework. I appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Ben
