route based on source address and/or destination port

I've been trying my damndest to figure this out...  ipchains will allow me
to redirect to a local port, but I can't use portfw or anything on those
rerouted packets because they don't come back in on any interface.

There is the iproute2 package, but it too does not allow a source route or
route based on port.  

Can anyone help here?  Please cc me directly as I am not (yet) subscribed
to this list.
