This is a Debian v2 system using kernel 2.0.35 with ISDN mods and
the below has lasted for up to 1/2 hour then come back to normal.
I've seen 3000->4000 ms for a few minutes before but nothing like
this, the machine may as well be dead.
64 bytes from 139.130.77.1: icmp_seq=5345 ttl=255 time=74443.3 ms
64 bytes from 139.130.77.1: icmp_seq=5346 ttl=255 time=73443.4 ms
64 bytes from 139.130.77.1: icmp_seq=5347 ttl=255 time=72443.6 ms
There is no indication the link is 100% saturated so it's unlikely
a ping -f attack. Could anyone offer me any reasons as to why this
128k ISDN seems to "bog down" and where to look (log files reveal
nothing and I can't tcpdump from the outside while this is going on) ?
