interesting that this question should come up... on linux-admin someone
mentioned that you can use fuser to check...
hades:/home# fuser -vun tcp 25
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
25/tcp root 23130 f.... sendmail
there's also an obscene method that i came up with using the proc
filesystem, but you probably don't want that :-)
