It may help if you give the Win95 box an IP address within the same
network as the eth0 on the Linux box.

If you want to have the X server on the Windows box managed by xdm
automatically, you need to list it in the /usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers
file.
If you want to have the X server on the Windows box managed by xdm
only when it sends an XDMCP query, you need to list it in the
/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xaccess file.
