Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with PPP and ISDNs. I am
having trouble getting my 3Com Impact IQ external isdn to connect with both
channels. One channel is easy, but getting both seems to be tricky.
When I authenticate using a chat script, and include my username and passwd
in the script, I only connect with one channel, which functions perfectly.
But if I exclude the username and passwd in the script, and rely on the
pap-secrets file for authentication, both of my isdn channels seem to
connect. However, if I connect with both channels, nothing happens... I am
unable to connect anywhere ( I can't even ping the other side of the PPP
connection). When I check out the logs for help, there are no errors.. it
connects and authenticates normally. Even a tcpdump reveals a bunch of
unanswered requests from my system.
Can anyone explain this to me? I am completely stuck and destined to live
my life at half my potential.
