Hi.

I am running several Linux boxes (kernel 2.0.36) as NFS clients with an
AIX
fileserver.

Since the AIX server can do only synchronous I/O with NFS2, I have
a rather bad write performance (only 200 KBytes/sec over 10 Mbit
Ethernet) with
this combination.
I would like to know, when there will be a NFS3 client available for
Linux?
Or maybe ... is there another possibility (besides increasing the wsize
parameter)
on the client side to tune the NFS performance of NFS2?

I have also made some tests with a 2.2.x kernel with the following
results:
an even worsen write performance (only 100 Kbytes/sec now) and,
more seriously, files get corrupted when writing to the server.

Thanks in advance for your help ...
