hi all...
i dont know if this is the right place for this question..but still i will
ask....
my linux box is isolated as far as the ssh and telnet are concerned...
when i use ssh it says:
secure connection to <m/c ip> refused...reverting to insecure mode
using rsh.WARNING:Connection will not be encrypted
xx.yy.zz.ww:Connection refused.
sometimes i get the message:Connection reset by peer.
the behaviour of the m/c has become erratic...sometimes it connects but
disconnects shortly afterwards with the "connection reset:10060 err msg"
btw. ping works to the m/c and from it.also i am able to login to other
hosts from that m/c....
what can the problem be?does it indicate a possible denial of service
attacks on my system??
please help.....thanx
Indifference will certainly be the downfall of mankind, but who cares??
