Hello, I have been trying to get remote printing working for about a week and I cannot seem to get it working. I have setup the /etc/hosts.lpd and included in that file all the workstations that I would like to be able to print from. I believe that I have my /etc/printcap setup correctly. I am using Red Hat 5.1 and configuring my printer with the printer configuration tool. The server can print just fine but the clients complain about how the connection is refused. I then go out and do a lpq to look at the print queue and it says it cannot start the daemon. Please help!
