Wireless Home LAN FAQ/HOWTO ?????

All,

I came across a "wireless home LAN " setup from Diamond at Circuit City.
And am looking for advice, experiences, links to HOWTOs and FAQ about
Wireless LAN under Linux.
I did notice there is a config option  for  Linux2.2.3 and was wondering if
there is a similar option under 2.0.x.
