Could somone post the necessary route setup for accessing the internet thru Sygate/Windows? I have Sygate set up and working on the machine with the cable modem, and I've tested it with a 2nd Win95 machine. I can ping the Sygate machine from Linux, even pull up the local Personal Web Server start page on the Linux machine typing http://vannoy, but I can't get out to the internet. I think I'm just missing something in my route table. Here's what I've got now: Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 1 eth0 127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default VANNOY 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0 BTW, VANNOY is set up in hosts to point to 192.168.1.1, which is the Sygate machine IP.
