Thanks!  That cleared up the stalling and the 111 errors.  I'm still 
seeing "lockd failed to monitor" (and I still haven't found any command 
with "lockd" in its name) and I still can't get ZMAGIC binaries to run 
across NFS, but I'm feeling much better about 2.2 now.
