The GILAT is from ISREAL having offices in three four countries i.e
America, France, China and Bangkok. The SKYSURFER comes in two modes 1.
with rmote card and with skysurfer VSAT. Pl. visit www.gilat.com for
details but the site is not very informative on this aspect.

Its a big size PCI card, 32 bit 33 MHZ, upto 2 MBPS bit rate, 80 KB
buffermemory, 176 KB programme memory, L-Band 950 to 1700 Mhz input
frequency range and RF output is F connector, &5 ohm.

The National Informatics Center of Govt. of India has a SKY Surfer VSAT
installed at its HQ and has given some cards for testing the remoe FTDMA
vsat user ( we are one of them) by installing SKSurfer and routing throug
their VSAT. The card as indicated earlier comes with Win 95/NT driver but
not with any document.
The CARD as I have been told works fine with 3Com 509/905 ethernet cards
in NT and also with Intel Etherexpress in win 95. It connectes through BNC
post to EDU of VSAT.

I want to install it in my Linux server but cant do it without driver.
