Doesn't work. Yes, you can have two default routes, but only one will be
used - the first one appearing in /proc/net/route, apparently. I can get
the packets to show up on eth1, eth0, or on the public side of the
opposite gateway, depending on where I point the route for
255.255.255.255, but never in more than one place at a time and never on
the private side of the opposite gateway.
Well, I've had some interesting suggestions, most of which *look*
perfectly reasonable... but so far nothing works. We're looking at using
our ATM switches to buils another VLAN for these machines, because I don't
think this is gonna work... sigh.
