Hmmm... U didn't exactly get me
All mails coming from my pop account are downloaded into my local account
my domain mynetwork.com is obviously non existent ..
Now when I reply to the mails the from address will be but obvious
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
However , when I send mails , reply mails from this account the source
address should be altered by sendmail ... to [EMAIL PROTECTED] as
sendmail does a domain lookup when sending the mail
The overall picture is
Mails are downloaded to my pc via pop
I read,reply to the mails
the mails have the from addr as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
When I'm connected the mails are delivered with the same source addr
I want sendmail to change the mails from sandesh@... to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] when sending out ...
so that people can reply to me ... aliases I presume .. but how
Also How do I enable sendmail to defer the mails ... until my ppp
connection is up
Now .. sendmail attempts to send the mails immediately even if i'm not
connected
the sendmail daemon is invoked with the option -bd -q 15m
i.e I want to read , reply to all my mails and when I connect all the
mails queued should be batched out ...
TIA
