Datatype 9

[Y2K]

Hi all
If I try to load kernal rpm on RedHat 4.2 through command
rpm -Uvf kernal-source.rpm
it gives Datatype 9 not supported.

This happens for any rpm I try to load. Can nayone suggest some way out.
