I have a host with an adaptec cogent 4 port nic and a 3c905b. The 3c905b goes
to the backbone and the cogent goes to three other segments of our network.
When I ping any device from our backbone I get several good pings and the
message listed below.
64 bytes from 10.1.3.17: icmp_seq=37 ttl=57 time=7.3 ms
wrong data byte #32 should be 0x20 but was 0x21

Pinging from the host with the multipul nics produces only good pings.
