Dear helpers,
I have connected two pc's (ethernet card's):
1st : IP = 156.83.168.1 (netmask = 255.255.255.0)
2nd : IP = 156.83.168.2 ( ,, ,, )
If I try to login (with telnet) to the other computer, I get the
message: ------Host not available. No route to host.---------
Do you need a route if you have a local network (no connection to the
outside world)?
I use Red Hat 5.1.
