hi all,
I have three systems namely calvin (with 2 n/w interfaces :192.9.205.217,
192.9.2.217), delta (with 1 interface : 192.9.2.210) and sigma (with 1
interface : 192.9.205.216).
I have two socket programming applications "cli" (sends pkts. addressed
to 225.0.0.37 and port 12345) and "serv" (joins 225.0.0.37 and listens on
port 12345).
"serv" is run on "calvin" and "delta". "cli" is run on "sigma". Also
"mrouted" is running on calvin. The "serv" on calvin is able to receive the
packets from "cli" on sigma. Will the mrouted on calvin be able to route
the multicast packets from cli, on its other interface so that "serv" on delta
receives them? I started mrouted with "-d 3" option, but it doesn't show
any such packets except for the membership probe/report messages. Can
anybody help me on this issue?
thanks
