I have a router machine here running 2.1.126 that routes across three T1s
using Sangoma Wanpipe cards, and it runs flawless. I was forced to upgrade
when I discovered that only 2.1.x kernels could give me byte counts for my
interfaces for SNMP purposes (and even then I had to patch the darn
wanpipe driver to support the feature).
