Forgot to put in the contents of resolv.conf in my previous post :
Box A, /etc/resolv.conf (as required by my ISP) :
domain ibm.net
nameserver 165.87.194.244
nameserver 165.87.201.244
Box B, /etc/resolv.conf :
search local.com
nameserver 127.0.0.1
