BootROM of SMC EtherCard PLUS Elite16 (WD8013EW)

Hello,

Does anyone know how the boot ROM of this ethernet card work ?
I mean, at startup the card ask me if I want to boot form network : Can
I use a Linux server for Booting and if yes how ? ( it could be great to
use a old 486/66 with 16 mb of RAM like a X-Terminal )
