Hi networkers,
I have a strange problem, for which I can't find the solution:
when I start autofs everything seems to go just fine (portmapper and ypbind
running ),
but when I go to the corresponding mounting points they are just empty, and the
size of
them is 0 ( not even a multiple of 1024 as it is usually). Even
/var/log/messages doesn't say
anything about errors just messages from automount
the hole info about the mounting points and stuff comes via NIS, and ypcat -k
auto.master shows me
all the different auto_xxx.
anybody a clue what is the problem???
bye the way when mounting normally with mount ... things seem to work, I tested
it with
one of the mounting points
