Checking for a multicast address

Guys,

I'm reading through a table of IP addresses and need to sort out multicast
addresses.  Given an IP address, what's the easiest way to do this?  

I know that they're between 224.0.0.1 and 239.255.255.255 - can I apply a 
mask?
