Hey all,

I am having some problems with my ne2k-pci card. The ne2k-pci driver
module loads fine but ifconfig looks a little wierd and won't let me set
anything. Here is the output from ifconfig:

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:A0:4B:01:5A:80
          unix addr: Bcast: Mask:
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0
          Interrupt:10 Base address:0xfcc0

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          unspec addr:00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-F8-04-08-02-00
        Bcast:00-00-7F-FF-FF-FF-00-00-00-00-00-F8-04-08-02-00
        Mask:00-00-FF-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-F8-04-08-00-00
UP BROADCAST LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:3584 Metric:1
          RX packets:5222 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:5222 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0

I included the lo device because it too is a little wierd. I have tried
'ifconfig eth0 inet' and 'ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1' and numerous other
commands but none seem to have any effect. I can ping myself at
192.168.1.1, and if I set it to a different address I can ping that also
so the command must have some effect. I cannot ping other hosts but I
don't know for sure if that's the card or the hub. The hub too is
completely screwed up. Even the other two hosts can't ping each other.
Does anybody have any clue about this? I am confused.

Thanks,
Jeff
