Greeting all,

Is there any way I could get the MAC address of an IP address which is not
on the same network?

Because I would like to build up a database which contain the IP and MAC
address at my own networks. I know could do this by ping at the broadcast
IP address and immediately do a arp -a . But this is only limit to same
network only. Is there any way or by using what script for me to get all
the MAC addresses for my networks (more than one router) ?

I don't know whether this had been discussed before, but it yes pls povide
the URL or nay resources for me. Thanks in advannced.

Regards,
