Hello,

Two days ago i installed a new proxy server running RedHat 6.0. The
hardware is a Compaq 2500R (PPro 200) with SmartArray controller and a
3C905B ethernet card.

Everything seems to be running fine, but when i look at the output of
netstat -s i noticed this:

TcpExt:
626 resets received for embryonic SYN_RECV sockets
8522 packets pruned from receive queue because of socket buffer
overrun
229427 packets dropped from out-of-order queue because of socket
buffer overrun
15 ICMP packets dropped because they were out-of-window

uptime
  3:17pm up 2 days, 2:37, 2 users, load average: 0.04, 0.03, 0.00

Is this normal behaviour? The server is the main proxy server for a small
ISP ( 50 concurrent connections on average ).

Thanks in advance,

Hugo
