Sorry, if they are using Winsock as proxy, you have no choice and have to
install winsock client in order to get connect to the M$ Proxy server and
go out to Internet. Currently, I don't think anyone has port winsock
client to Linux.
All you can do is ask them to configure the M$ Proxy to allow Sock server
connection as well beside running Winsock on M$ Proxy server. Then you can
configure your Linux to connect to Internet via sock server on M$ Proxy.
