Hello, I do not have full internet access so please bear with me if this is not the right place to ask this question... I finally got my serial nulmodem cslip connection (Linux-W95) up and running, but I now want to use samba to have the W95 machine print on linux and pop mail. I cannot seem to get samba (debian, slink version) running (that is, the daemons run, but W95 cannot browse the network). Before I lose my night's sleep, does anyone know if samba (or W95) require PPP or some _real_ network connection instead of only SLIP in order to function? Thanks in advance, Felix - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-net" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
