        Like Alan said, Linux ROSE is different flower.
        Only "OSI"-type protocol supported by linux is X.25 (a.k.a CONS
        transport.)  Even that requires supported special hardware.

        Telephony switch management systems usually use either
        proprietary protocols, or CCITT/ITU specified/sanctioned
        ones.
