The possibilities are endless, but I personally would probably use expect
or perl. Minicom (or any similar program, even Hyperterm on a Win95 machine)
would do fine, just capture to a text file and process it later. For that
matter, 'cat /dev/ttyS0 >> capture.txt' might work.
So have you figured out its ancestry yet? From your description it
sounded a little big to be a B/4.
