Dear Dr. Singh,
Here's a shell script to do exactly that
$Userlist=`cat /etc/passwd | cut -f1 -d":"`
for User in $Userlist
do
mail $User -s $Subject < matter
echo "mail has been sent to $LUZER"
done
In this $Subject defined and matter should be the file that contains the
matter of the mail.
Also there might be some user groups for whom you might not wish to send
these mails. You can grep them out of the /etc/passwd file and then fill
up the Userlist variable.
Hope this works,
Bye,
Vinay BV
