I'm trying to configure my Linix Box as NIS client. The NIS master is
a Digital UNIX machine and known to be doing NIS o.k.

The yp client version i'm running is yp-clients-2.2,
my Linux kernel is 2.1.122.

When i try to start ypbind on Linux with the -debug option enabled, the
following output is produced (harun.az1.de is the NIS domain master):

root@sindbad:/# ypbind -debug
cleared entry for domain az1: server 0.0.0.0, port 0

Trying entry: ypserver harun.az1.de

All yp* programs refuse to start with the message:

No such ... Reason: Can't bind to server which serves this domain

Anybody out there with an idea what's about ?

Thanks !
