Hello,
Can someone tell me what all is needed to make use of my
external 3ComImpact IQ?
I've not enabled any ISDN in the kernel and don't know if I need to as all
the docs I read referenced only "internal equipment".
I can hook it up to the box and run minicom and I actually connect to the
Ascend router on the other side, but that's all.
I set up some ppp scripts, but all I ever get are the following:

Jul 23 11:08:46 webserv pppd[2117]: Connect time 0.1 minutes.
Jul 23 11:09:14 webserv pppd[2117]: Terminating on signal 15.
Jul 23 11:09:14 webserv pppd[2117]: Exit.
Jul 23 11:20:00 webserv kernel: PPP: ppp line discipline successfully unregistered
I get both channels what looks like a second and then it bails out.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a good doc(s) out there that will help.
I'm really completely clueless about this and have no idea where to turn.
