Hi all,
I've read all that refers on cron (Slackware 4.0: cron per users)
and understood that for my inn, I should get something like
0 0 * * * /usr/lib/news/bin/news.daily
The problem is that sometimes my pc's not running at midnight (hope that 0
0 won't disturb crond).
So I thought I could write a sh-script that compares .news.daily
with the date : but like it's all date, if I make a compare, my "if" would
always be true... (minutes, sec will always differ). So how can i write a
script that runs /usr/lib/news/bin/news.daily if the .news.daily doesn't
match the day date ?
Thank you for help
