i think there is an endian problem with the ipv6 version of netstat.
But maybe it's coming from /proc... Here's the info:

open random udp6 port, it shows up as:
udp        0      0 eb1c:fe3f::100:0:1072   *:* 

it's cut off, but it should read 3ffe:1ceb::1
Is this because netstat is reading from /proc? If this is the
case I will get in contact with the person who takes care of
/proc/net/udp6.

I can provide more info, if needed.
