Calm down, I was stressed and forgot... Try babelfish.altavista.com ;))
Now my problem: I've got a gateway stuffed with three 3com905b (only two
cards are in use), linux 2.0.36... eth0 is connected with an ATM-switch
and eth1 is the device that leads to the LAN via a switch (HP-Procurve
2424m).
Worked fine for some weeks but now I encountered a problem, which
occures... lets say... every 2 days. The eth0-device doesn't receive
anything... the link-lamp on the card shows "100 MBit", the device sends
"arp who-has"-requests but thats the only traffic, the activity-lamp on
the card shows up...
To get the network running again I need to unload the module 3c59x and
then start the device up again. Taking the device down and up again with
ifconfig doesn't seem to be sufficient.
Any comments/hints?
TIA
