Some time ago (1/2 year) you could still by ISA Zoom Dual Mode 56k
modems - models like 2919, I guess, for internal. I have one
(with Rockwell chip, now they switched to Lucent and have 2919L, I think).
Works fine, nicely compartible with Linux. After some work I'm able to
usefax and voice features (with vgetty) as well. Had quirks, but solvable.
