DOes anyone have ANY information on increaseing the number of connections. I've got a port that can accept 5000 connections but the O/S will only let me use 128? is this right , im not sure. I've had a look in socket.h, socketbits.h , task.h and sem.h and altered certain system hash defines , but ti've only managed to get 255 conections or 376 , 255 tcp/ip and 376 local. (both machines are configured the same over TCP/IP links). The fd;'s are 1024 so i dont think its that any ideas anyone?????
