don't know whether this is related or not, but you might want to try an
ipfwadm command to block all outgoing icmp 5 messages from your LRP box,
then check it out with ipfwadm -O -le
I found out (but didn't look into it yet) that at least one of our LRP
boxes is doing this. That's on a TR network, an LRP box with two Olicom
3137 interfaces in it. up since 90 days now, which means those people cut
their main powerswitch so many days ago ;-)
