There's the rub -- I'm highly interested in knowing how to use Linux on
either a PC or on some other architecture (with a lower cost than the
7xxx series) to provide the same functionality I would achieve on some
of the 7xxx series -- the 7507 and 7513 come to mind -- albeit their
will likely be a bus issue -- or even more likely -- just a limited
number of slots in most motherboard configurations.
The 3640 from what I understand, although it will accept more than 4
T1's via multi-T1 cards, seems to have a bus that is designed/optimized
for 4 T1's.
Does anyone have experience with both the higher end Cisco's and with
Linux routing? Personally my experience with Cisco's routers has only
reached the 16xx, 25xx, and 26xx.
