I have 2 dsl lines, and would like to have multihomed servers

some of my machines have 2 nic cards in them, and I have been
able to access them by telnetting to either ip. traceroutes show that
I am one hop away from other machines on either network. however
I am having lots of odd problems

some machines cannot be access from the outside. one machine went
down on one line and immediately went up on the other. lots of packet loss
and stuff like that

what should my rc.inet1 file look like (slackware)?

how should my hardware be set up? see attached bitmap for my
current setup

here is some info from one of my machines. it works fine if I just set it up
on
one isp or the other.
