Printing and clock resolution

Hello   I have installed SuSE 6.0 on my machine, and I have, in the local network, a printer attached to an NT machine. I have two questions: - what do I have to do (on my machine and on the printer server) in order to print from Linux (I already have an account under NT which works); the printer is an HP LaserJet 5. - how can I increase the clock resolution; I am capturing packets from the network with tcpdump or ipgrab and I need a more accurate timestamp; at this moment, the accuracy is 0.01 seconds (the timestamp is about 8 digits long in the decimal part, i.e. 0.abcdefgh, but ony the first two of them, ab, are relevant, the others do not change from one timestamp to another).
