Hello
I have installed SuSE 6.0 on my machine, and I
have, in the local network, a printer attached to an NT machine. I have two
questions:
- what do I have to do (on my machine and on the
printer server) in order to print from Linux (I already have an account under NT
which works); the printer is an HP LaserJet 5.
- how can I increase the clock resolution; I am
capturing packets from the network with tcpdump or ipgrab and I need a more
accurate timestamp; at this moment, the accuracy is 0.01 seconds (the timestamp
is about 8 digits long in the decimal part, i.e. 0.abcdefgh, but ony the first
two of them, ab, are relevant, the others do not change from one timestamp to
another).
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thank you very much.
Best regards
