To use full duplex you need either a crossover cable connection between
two computers, or you need a SWITCH. A hub is a muiltiport repeater,
and thus collisions will happen. Full duplex disables collision
detection.
US prices, a good 16 port switch (netgrear/baynetworks/nortel) FS516
will cost you $570USD.
An 8 port switch (fs108) can be had for as low as $180.
