Hi all,
I am now trying to set up a VPN between to distant
LANs.
As I run a 2.2.5 on RH6.0, I follow John Hardin's
advice (http://www.wolfenet.com/~jhardin) and plan to
use IPSec without FreeS/Wan, which is not stable yet
on 2.2.x series.
Now the problem. The kernel needs to be patch and
patches are readily available at various ftp sites.
I get a Hunk error :
Hunk #1 failed at 4
it is the only error I get.
What is it? Should I first patch the kernel to a
2.2.10 or .12 ? - i use 2.2.5
Can I carry on and ignore the error ?
Has anyone other advice to share ?
