I wanted to say: the length of the packet data is included in the IP
header and eventually additional in the 802.3 header.
I cannot imagine any card that is able to differentiate between pad
bytes and data bytes. So Philippe is right, from the cards point of view
the minimum receive packet length is 64 Bytes (including CRC) and he
should see the pad bytes.
