Hi everybody,
Since a couple of days, we have a problem with Sendmail.
When sendmail tried to send a message, there is a message in
"/var/adm/message" file :
>>>>> Start of Extraction>>>>>>>>>>
Sep 8 07:32:54 ns sendmail[5944]: PAA03998: to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,
ctladdr=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (515/400),
delay=16:18:59, xdelay=01:08:23, mailer=smtp,
relay=gatekeeper.destination.domain.[999.888.777.60],stat=Deferred
^^^^^^^^
<<<<< End of Extraction<<<<<<<<<
PLEASE NOTE that : the destination domain (and his IP Address) and the
originator informations was changed in this extraction.
And in the syslog of the originator domain, there is (at each 15 minutes -
time that sendmail is suppose to be wake up) :
>>>>>Start of extraction>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Sep 10 07:26:02 ns sendmail[1654]: PAA03998: SYSERR(root):
timeout writing message to gatekeeper.destination.domain.
<<<<<END of extraction<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Is there anybody knows what's append ?
Why this messsage wasn't send to ?
Is there a problem of sendmail config ?
Thank for all
Jean-Claude C.
