I have two Redhat 6.0 systems both running 2.2.12 with the following
patches installed:
linux-2.2.7-sunrpc.patch
nfsd-2.2.7-2.lockd.patch
nfsd-2.2.7-3.patch
nfsd-2.2.7-nfsfh.patch
One of them is an nfs server and the other is an nfs client. I am seeing
some unusual error messages on both of them. On the server I am seeing
messages like this:
Sep 14 17:16:25 khan kernel: fh_verify: inbox/8379 permission failure,
acc=4, error=13
Sep 14 18:23:58 khan kernel: svc: unknown version (3)
Sep 14 19:53:22 khan kernel: fh_verify: s/stults permission failure,
acc=1, error=13
Sep 14 20:00:26 khan kernel: fh_verify: //millerlu permission failure,
acc=4, error=13
On the client machine I am seeing messages like this:
Sep 13 13:31:58 spock kernel: nfs_dentry_delete: drafts/56.~43~:
ino=252082, count=2, nlink=1
Sep 14 09:37:51 spock kernel: NFS: can't silly-delete
inbox/.nfs000108c300000001, error=-512
What is going on here, is this any cause for alarm?
Thanks,
Luke
