I'm actually with Alexey on IPv6 <-> IPv6 masquerading. It's a horrible
hack. If your ISP gives you only a single IPv6 address then they really need
to be beaten with a the pointed end of a cluestick.
My idea was to solve of the problem of IPv6 only hosts (with real addresses)
having to talk to IPv4 only hosts (with real addresses). The IPv6 only host
may not be able to get a real IPv4 address, so instead of setting up each
IPv6 machine with an IPv4 stack and internal IPv4 address, and then having
an IPv4 <-> IPv4 masq box on the network, why not drop IPv4 for the machines
that can't get real IPv4 addresses and do the masq direct from IPv6 packets
to IPv4? Ugh, that was a really horrible bit of writing. I hope it made
sense <g>

A neutron walks into a bar. "I'd like a beer" he says.
The bartender promptly serves up a beer.
"How much will that be?" asks the neutron.
"For you?" replies the bartender, "no charge"
